Capturing moments Through Photography
Photography has become one of my main creative outlets, both inside and outside of school. I enjoy using photography as a way to document experiences, tell stories, and capture moments from different perspectives. I work with both digital and film photography, and through my classes and personal projects, I have been able to explore many different styles, including photojournalism, live events, portraits, and landscape photography.
One of my favorite experiences was being featured in an art show in the Los Angeles Arts District, where my photography was displayed as part of a gallery exhibition. I have also photographed local artists, including shooting a Long Beach band, Babes Kitchen, for a music release, and doing a photoshoot for a DJ to help promote an upcoming performance. These experiences allowed me to see how photography can be used not only creatively but also for promotion, branding, and media purposes.
In addition to event and portrait photography, I enjoy shooting landscapes while traveling and visiting national parks. Many of my road trips have given me the opportunity to capture nature and scenery, which has helped me develop my eye for composition and storytelling. Through my photojournalism class, I have also completed assignments that focus on capturing real moments and presenting them in a clear and meaningful way.
Photography continues to be an important part of my creative work, and it connects closely to my interest in marketing, media, and public relations. Whether I am photographing events, people, or places, I enjoy using images to communicate a story and create something that others can connect with.
